What Sets Pusat Tuisyen Rakan Apart?

Pusat Tuisyen Rakan does not merely focus on academic excellence. Equal emphasis is placed on discipline, attitude, and character development, because true education goes beyond grades.

Although Rakan is a tuition centre, it functions much like a school with a home-like environment structured, disciplined, yet filled with genuine care and concern from its teachers. Every child is valued equally, regardless of race, religion, background, or academic standing.

Who Heads Pusat Tuisyen Rakan?

Pusat Tuisyen Rakan is led by Cikgu Vijay, a highly respected educator and powerful motivator with over 35 years of teaching experience.

He specialises in Mathematics and Science, teaching students from Primary 6 to Form 5. He also handles Science Stream subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Additional Mathematics, and Biology for Form 4 and Form 5 (SPM), as well as IGCSE, O-Levels, A-Levels, and University-level Mathematics.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

Cikgu Vijay holds:

  • Bachelor of Science (Major in Zoology, minor in Genetics) – University of Malaya
  • Master’s in Counselling ( OUM)
  • MBA (University of East London, (UK))
  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology

He is also:

  • A Certified HRDF Trainer
