Pusat Tuisyen Rakan was established with the goal of helping students overcome academic challenges and achieve better results in their examinations. From the beginning, the focus has been on providing structured learning, practical exam strategies, and dedicated guidance to help students reach their full potential.
Over the years, Rakan has supported many students in preparing for important national examinations. Through focused teaching methods and exam-oriented preparation, students are guided to understand key concepts clearly and develop effective answering techniques.

First real story
One of our student, Sheila (name portrayed is PSEUDONYM TO PROTECT THE privacy AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL ), was a physically challenged student with learning limitations. Three months before her PMR ( a national examination that has to be faced by all Form 3 students those days) , joined Rakan’s crash revision programme. At that time, she was failing her subjects and her parents were understandably worried.

- Parents perserverance and unwillingness to give up on Sheila.
Sheila not only passed her PMR, but also achieved several B’s and C’s which is an achievement that many would have believed to be impossible. Her success boosted her confidence and changed how she viewed her own abilities. A loud shout out to Rakan’s teachers who have whole heartedly guided Sheila towards the path of Success .
Second Real Story
In March 2024, Hareshan, a student from SMK Bukit Bintang who is physically challenged, joined Rakan’s Form 4 Regular Tuition classes. Prior to joining Rakan, Hareshan, who is autistic, was struggling greatly in his studies. He was failing most of his subjects and facing significant academic difficulties.
In addition to that, he had a short concentration span, difficulty focusing, emotional flare-ups, and other physical limitations which made learning even more challenging for him. Despite these obstacles, the teachers at Rakan continued to guide, motivate, and support him tirelessly throughout his academic journey.
Through consistent guidance, hard work, and determination, Hareshan eventually achieved an outstanding result of 3A’s and 2B’s in his SPM examination. Most importantly, he managed to obtain credits for all his SPM subjects. Hareshan, who once disliked Mathematics and had previously failed the subject before joining Rakan, successfully scored an A in Mathematics for his SPM. He together with his parents were truly astonished to see the outstanding results that he had obtained when he went to school in April 2026 to collect his SPM results .
This is not an isolated case. Many failing students have shown remarkable improvement at Rakan. Parents who visit our centre can clearly see the difference by comparing students’ before-and-after results.
